How do I use the calculator?
Open the Calculator tab. Choose Weight to estimate a value in dirhams from grams, or Amount to estimate a weight from a budget. Select a karat or custom purity. You can adjust the 18K reference price and share the calculation.
Does the calculator give a jewellery resale price?
It estimates raw gold value using weight, purity and a reference price. It excludes making charges, stones and jewellery retail margins. The result is not an offer to buy or sell.
Do I need an account?
The published price, 7-day history and calculator are available without an account. A free account unlocks longer history periods, up to one year, and price alerts. Notifications require your permission.
Where do the displayed prices come from?
The reference price for raw 18K gold in Morocco is published by 18k.ma and displayed with its date. It is provided for informational purposes.
How do I set up a price alert?
In the app, open the alerts section, set an upward or downward threshold, then enable notifications. You will be notified as soon as the price reaches your threshold.
Is the app available in Arabic?
Yes. Gold Price is available in Arabic and French. You can change the language in the settings.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile › Settings › Delete account) or by writing to us. See the "Delete my account" page for details.
I am not receiving notifications.
Check that notifications are allowed for Gold Price in your phone settings, and that at least one alert is active in the app. If the problem persists, contact us.
